Replacement Hedge Planted Between Pool & North Entrance Wall
Ten Giant Thuja arborvitae (3 to 4 feet tall) were planted on 6-foot centers just like those that surround our clubhouse parking lot. These trees grow 3 to 4 feet per year and make an excellent privacy hedge. The cost came in at $2,400 versus a $3,000 budget and include a two-year warranty. We’ll need the warranty because the trees were planted among the roots of the trees they replaced.
Change of address for RAMSGATE HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC.
RHA rents a mailbox at the United Parcel Service store at 5928 Hixson Pike, next door to the Publix supermarket. The annual cost is $204. Paperless billing has reduced the need for this service – after dues assessments have been collected, we average less than three pieces of mail a month. A post-mounted & locked mailbox has been installed in front of the clubhouse and will be the mail drop for RHA. The address will be 1735 Ramsgate Pkwy, Hixson, TN 37343. Service at the UPS site will be discontinued after March 31, 2026.
Entrance Gate Change for Clubhouse and Pool Area
The clubhouse and pool gate lock has been rekeyed. Use your RFID keycard to unlock the gate. Your existing gate key will continue to work with the clubhouse and bathroom doors.
If your family needs more than one RFID keycard, or if you would prefer to use an RFID key fob, you can purchase either one for $5. We want to limit the number of keycards or key fobs to a maximum of two per residence.
With this system we will be able to track when and how often each keycard or key fob is scanned through the year; and, if someone leaves Ramsgate without returning their cards or fobs, the numbers are deactivated. They could also be deactivated if the annual assessments are unpaid.
